Thanksgiving is in the books for 2011 and time to move toward Christmas.  Besides Black Friday and Cyber Monday Light Up LaGrange is a definite sign the Holiday Season is upon us. Our Family has enjoyed Light up LaGrange the past several years.  It is in downtown Lagrange in front of the courthouse this Friday night December 2nd and the festivities kick off at 6pm.  Santa will be there along with several entertainers and all the stores will be open so you can shop local for your Christmas gifts. Be sure to dress warm, as of now the temps will be in the 30′s.

Since October 1st, 2011 there have been 56 home sell in Oldham County.  Of those 2 were condos and the rest single family homes.  The price range breakdown was as follows, 19 under $200,000, 21 between $200-$300,000, 12 between $300,000-$500,000.  The last 2 were at a nice price tag of $1.1 million and $3 million.

As far as multiple sales in one neighborhood, looks like Briar Hill has cooled off from past months with no sales recorded, and the sales were really all over the board.  Glen Oaks, Kentucky Acres and Springhouse each had 2 sales, that was the most for any neighborhood.

Oldham County is a popular destination for folks moving to the Louisville area.
